Terms of Service

Last updated: March 28, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Priva (“the Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. The Platform is operated by Reitek LLC.

2. Description of Service

Priva is a legal practice management platform built exclusively for the Philippine legal market. It serves licensed Filipino lawyers (solo practitioners, small law firms, and PAO lawyers), their clients, and personal assistants (PAs).

3. User Accounts and Roles

Users register as one of three roles: Lawyer, Client, or Personal Assistant (PA). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Lawyers must provide valid Philippine legal credentials including their Roll of Attorneys Number.

4. Personal Assistant Delegation

Lawyers may delegate specific module-level access to PAs. PAs act on behalf of the delegating lawyer with explicit, revocable permissions. Lawyers remain responsible for all actions taken by their delegated PAs.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

The Platform offers subscription tiers (Starter, Professional, Enterprise). Payment processing is handled by Stripe. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the end of the billing period. Reitek LLC does not store credit card information.

6. Consultation Bookings

Lawyers may offer consultation slots with optional upfront fees. Paid consultations are processed via Stripe Checkout. For the current version, paid bookings are final and non-refundable. Lawyers set their own consultation fees.

7. Document Storage and Confidentiality

Documents uploaded to the Platform are stored securely and may be processed to extract searchable text for user convenience. Documents are soft-deleted (never permanently removed without explicit user request). Case notes and attorney work product are treated as privileged under the Code of Professional Responsibility and Accountability (CPRA). The Platform does not access, review, or disclose document contents except as required by law.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: use the Platform for unlawful purposes; impersonate another person or entity; attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts; interfere with the Platform's operation; or upload malicious content.

9. Intellectual Property

The Platform, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by Reitek LLC. Users retain ownership of all content they upload or create on the Platform.

10. Limitation of Liability

The Platform is a practice management tool and does not provide legal advice. Reitek LLC is not liable for any legal outcomes resulting from the use of the Platform. The Platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

11. Termination

Reitek LLC may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Users may request account deletion at any time by contacting support@reitekapps.com.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of the Philippines.
